Dose


By doing the Mangosteen Test you can get a more accurate picture of your health and your personal recommended dose.

  • 1 to 2 x 30 ml / day = Preventive Dose for maintaining general health 
  • 2 to 3 x 60 ml / day = Recharge Dose in the case of mild health problems
  • 3 to 4 x 60 ml / day = Health Boosting Dose #1 for serious health problems.  As soon as the symptoms have improved, this dose can be reduced gradually. 
  • 4 to 6  x 60 ml / day = Health Boosting Dose #2 for chronic, acute and serious health problems.  As soon as the symptoms have improved, this dose can be reduced gradually.


Use

  • Shake the bottle before drinking it so that the sediment (which comes from the Mangosteen’s peel) is mixed in the rest of the juice.2 mangostan in glass
  • Once opened, keep the bottle in the fridge.
  • Drink the Mangosteen juice with or after a meal for optimum absorption by the body.
  • Be consistent in drinking the Mangosteen juice, i.e. do not skip a day and maintain daily regularity.
  • The Mangosteen drink is energising, so do not drink it shortly before bedtime.
  • Given that the Mangosteen juice is very detoxifying, it is important to drink a lot of water.  The detoxifying process can temporarily cause headaches, but only for a short amount of time.
  • The problems you have in your body can intensify for a few days before improving.  Make sure not to give up because it means that the xanthones are beginning to work.  Bear in mind that this is short-lived and will end sooner if you continue drinking the juice with the same regularity and also drink enough pure water.
  • Mangosteen juice can be used topically on people with problems such as psoriasis, and on burns or wounds.  Use a gauze, place it on the area to be treated and wrap with a bandage.
  • Take the Mangosteen juice for at least 3 months to feel its positive effects and to reach a balance in your body.  Health problems that you have been fighting for years will not disappear from one day to the next: time is needed.


Keeping a health diary


People often forget their health ailments very fast once these are no longer there.
I have met people who had many health problems and complained about a lot of things.
They began drinking Mangosteen juice and got better day after day.  This is a gradual process of course, it does not work like a painkiller does (from one moment to the next).  It has a slow effect and you improve steadily (just like the fact that you notice fewer changes in your own children than in someone else’s children you see less frequently).

After several weeks I came back to see these people and addressed all the symptoms they had given me.  Some were astonished and said: “Indeed, I also had a pain here and there, but I’d forgotten already…”.

That is why it is a good ideas to keep a regularly-updated health diary and to write down all the health problems you had when you started drinking Mangosteen juice.  That way you can look back and follow developments better.

 

Always keep this in mind while using Mangosteen juice

  • Dr J. Frederic Templeman recommends that you take the Mangosteen juice WITH FOOD.  Some of the Mangosteen’s healing components are reinforced because they can bind with the fat in food during the digestion process.  You can take Mangosteen juice with 2-3 almonds for the same effect.
  • Dr Templeman also says that in his practice and in that of other doctors, it was found that the following time pattern can be used :

    • On average 30% of the population feel an improvement of their ailment in 30 days
    • On average 30% of the population feel an improvement of their ailment in 60 days
    • On average 30% of the population feel an improvement of their ailment in 90 days
    • It will take 6 years among approximately 10% of the population before improvement can be ascertained

The duration of improvement depends on different factors :

  • The length and intensity of the illness (the most important factor) 
  • How much Mangosteen juice you take and how often 
  • Your age
  • Your eating patterns, the quality of the rest of your diet

It is important not to stop taking the daily dose once symptoms improve

Gradually decreasing the dose is essential in order to give the body time to heal.  Just because symptoms improve does not mean that the underlying cause has disappeared.  This can take time and, in the meanwhile, the Mangosteen can be invaluable.  So decrease your dose in order to give your body time to adjust.

You will notice that you feel better very quickly after beginning to take the Mangosteen juice.  You will have more energy and improved concentration, and some aches will go.  Do bear in mind that any improvement in health goes in stages.  As your health improves the peak of each stage can be higher, but they are alternated with lows.
These lows are an indication that your body has to get used to this better condition.

 

When is it recommended that you “gradually” introduce the Mangosteen in your diet?


It is beter to start with only one teaspoon of Mangosteen juice per day if you:

  • Have a serious heavy metal or other intoxication and are afraid that the Mangosteen fruit will detoxify you too fast and thereby cause unpleasant reactions in your body.
  • Have a weak or over-sensitive stomach and are afraid that the Mangosteen fruit may irritate it.
  • Are particularly sensitive to the effects of supplements.
  • Fear that you are one of the few people who have an allergic reaction to one or more of the juices that are mixed in with Mangosteen to suit Western tastes.

After you have taken a daily teaspoon of Mangosteen fruit for a few days you can increase the dose every couple of days or weeks, according to your state of health.  Increase the dose by one or two teaspoons each time until you reach the recommended dose.

 

Contra-indications

 
There are no contra-indications if using prescription medicine but caution should be exercised with the following health conditions:

  • High blood pressure
    The juice can help regulate blood pressure.  If taking medication to regulate blood pressure, it is important to have one’s blood pressure checked regularly given that the composition has to be adjusted gradually so as to avoid “over-medication”.
  • Diabetes
    The juice can have a beneficial effect in terms of blood sugar levels.  For insulin-dependent diabetics, it is important to be monitored carefully and where necessary to gradually adjust the dose of your medicine so as to avoid “over-medication”.
  • Blood-thinning medicines (Cenocoumarol/Sintrom/Marcoumar)
    The juice can have a blood-thinning affect,  If you use the above-mentioned medication, it is important that you have a laboratory test three days after taking the juice.  Where necessary, the medication can be adjusted so as to avoid “over-medication”.: elmar@mangosteenguide.com
